Craig's practice includes representation of individuals and companies in white collar criminal and complex civil litigation matters with a particular emphasis on the defense of alleged environmental/natural resources crimes and environmental civil enforcement/penalty actions. He also has experience in representing companies in investigations related to alleged hiring or harboring of undocumented employees.
Prior to joining Stevens, O'Connell & Jacobs in 1997, Craig was with Downey, Brand, Seymour and Rohwer in Sacramento where his practice focused on complex business and environmental litigation and white collar criminal defense. Craig served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Howard McKibben in Reno, Nevada.

- Representing construction company regarding alleged violations of California’s Proposition 65 and state hazardous waste disposal laws.
- Representing major dairy operation in federal criminal investigation into alleged violation of federal clean water laws.
- Represented geothermal energy facility in state criminal investigation regarding alleged violations of state hazardous waste disposal and air pollution laws.
- Represented large airlines in administrative investigation concerning alleged violation of air pollution laws.
- Represented large timber company in federal criminal investigation regarding alleged violations of federal air pollution laws.
- Represented ammonia company in a civil penalty case filed by the State of California for alleged improper discharges of ammonia at the Port of Stockton.
- Represented large manufacturer in criminal investigation alleging a “taking” of birds of prey in violation of California’s Fish and Game Code.
