Daniel J. Croxall focuses his practice on complex civil and criminal litigation.
During law school, Dan served as Primary Comment Editor of the McGeorge Law Review and published two articles in the MLR. He was also a member of the McGeorge School of Law’s Moot Court Honors Board and National Appellate Advocacy Team, where his appellate brief won third place out of 179 submitted briefs in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. He served as a full-time Judicial Extern for The Honorable Frank C. Damrell, Jr., United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and as a student member of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court. Upon graduation from McGeorge, Dan received the Outstanding Student Achievement Award for the class of 2008.
Prior to joining Stevens, O’Connell & Jacobs LLP, Dan was a Summer Associate and Law Clerk at DLA Piper LLP (US). During much of law school, Dan worked as a Law Clerk at Lewis & Bacon, P.C. He also taught English at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and at Cuesta College before turning to a career in the law.

- Assisting in defense of Rite Aid Corp. in enforcement action by California Attorney General alleging sale of hair care products containing excessive levels of organic volatile compounds.
- Assisting in representation of individuals in defense of mortgage fraud investigations and prosecutions.
- Assisted in representation of national company in a Ninth Circuit appeal involving employment discrimination.
- Assisted in representation of Sacramento City Charter Officer in federal investigation of alleged improprieties at his former non-profit agency.
- Assisted in defense of company in lawsuit involving misappropriation of likeness, unfair competition, and misleading advertising – summary judgment granted.
